Most companies want automated planning software for one of the following reasons: to simplify their plan development efforts (i.e., templates), to speed their plan development efforts, to simplify and consolidate their maintenance efforts, or to distribute their maintenance efforts to the end-user business proponents. Each of these reasons at first seems sound.
