Dunn to Serve on Contingency Planning Association of Carolinas Board
Patrick Dunn, principal consultant - Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity for Consonus Technologies, Inc., has agreed to be the new vice chairman of the Contingency Planning Association of the Carolinas, Inc. (CPAC). The position has been vacant for over a year.
An active CPAC member for three years, Dunn has two decades of experience in providing crisis management, business continuity development, disaster recovery planning, information security, and more. Industry certifications include: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Business Continuity Professional, and National Incident Management Systems.
"We are pleased to welcome Patrick to the board," said CPAC Board Chairman David Shimberg, CBCP. "He will make a welcome addition and his appointment will help ensure that CPAC's largest upcoming event, the 12th Annual Symposium, scheduled for December 2-3, will be bigger and better than ever."
