Henry Bros. Electronics Inc. Selected by Arizona State and Northern Arizona Universities to Provide Campus Security Systems

Henry Bros. Electronics Inc., a turnkey provider of technology-based integrated electronic security solutions, today announced that it has contracted with Arizona State University (ASU) and Northern Arizona University (NAU) (the "Universities") to provide security services, including the installation, support, training, upgrade, maintenance and warranty of their integrated access control and video surveillance systems. The initial contract term is for one year with the possibility of four successive one-year extensions. Although the Universities contracted Henry Bros. jointly, all procurement, transition, and administration or project planning and management are considered separate.

Henry Bros. will work with the Universities to modernize and expand their current systems. ASU has campuses in Tempe, Phoenix, Mesa and Glendale currently utilizing the ISAAC (Integrated System for ASU Access Control) system, which is a Lenel OnGuard application, as its mandatory electronic access control and video standard. Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, also utilizes the Lenel OnGuard system to meet the University's current hardware and software standards for door access and video surveillance. These systems are being deployed in phases across NAU's primary campus, with two phases encompassing the University's residence halls already complete.

Jim Henry, CEO of Henry Bros. Electronics, commented, "We are very happy to be working with two of our nation's premier institutions of higher learning. We have spent a great deal of time ensuring that we have the best teams and technology in place in order to effectively pursue projects in our service areas. The ASU and NAU contract falls into our sweet spot, as we have emphasized building a solid knowledge base on superior service with regard to campus security. We have a very talented team in Arizona and are committed to growing our Arizona business."

Laura Ploughe, Director of University Business Services Business Applications and Planning at ASU, commented, "The security of our ASU community (its people, facilities, and assets including intellectual and personal) is extremely important to us. We therefore organized a team along with NAU and carefully scrutinized the abilities and reputation of vendors who had potential to become business partners with us. Henry Bros. stood out in a competitive selection process above the rest as having the ideal combination of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce, the most relevant recent technology offerings, service delivery, and a proven reputation for timely and quality delivery. We look forward to working with their team."
