WorkForce One Employment Solutions, the administrative entity of the Broward Workforce Development Board, has selected the SAS 70 Type II certified 1Vault Networks for fully secured data backup and server collocation.
WorkForce One Employment Solutions is a federally funded, locally controlled organization providing numerous employment-related services to employers and job seekers in Broward County, Fla. These services are delivered through three one-stop centers and 26 kiosk sites located at various locations throughout Broward County.
The organization signed a three-year agreement for customized internet connectivity and collocation backup at 1Vault's state-of-the-art, Category 5 hurricane-rated data collocation center in Fort Lauderdale. 1Vault, which is located within a 25-mile radius of WorkForce One Employment Solutions' home base, meets all necessary governmental compliance required for service collocation.
In addition to data collocation, 1Vault offers businesses and governmental agencies hosted IT services and disaster recovery suites. The high-tech facility provides a fully redundant infrastructure with utility power feeds backed by multiple, maximum-load generator support, A/C chillers for environmental control and a raised-floor data center with full 9-foot ceiling height.
