MyStateUSA Announces Deployment In United States, Canada
MyStateUSA recently announced new capabilities
and a major new deployment of AlertSense, a uniquely comprehensive Web-delivered
public safety communications system that delivers rapid, dependable, precise public
notification, and simplifies strategic inter-agency communications.
AlertSense is now
successfully deployed across NWWARN, the NorthWest Warning, Alert and Response
Network encompassing five U.S. states, three Canadian Provinces and more than1,000 critical
infrastructure and private sector organizations.
AlertSense brings new ease and economy to regional, county and state/multi-state
alerting, public notification and Amber Alerting. It also streamlines content sharing
among agencies and public/private sector entities via a secure, user-intuitive
dashboard. Its highly-scalable architecture gives users new mobility and freedom to
build as-needed dynamic collaboration teams and content flows, and flexibly adapts to
support custom features.
“We needed dependable mass alerting and a secure, flexible framework for managing
dynamic response and recovery communications,” said Joe Huden, NWWARN
technical administrator and homeland security planner for the City of Everett,
Wash. “Our vast civilian coverage area and the potential complexities of content
sharing among numerous interacting agencies and entities guided our selection
process, as did our unique usage feature needs, security requirements and budget
constraints. AlertSense emerged as the clear choice, and helps us ensure that critical
knowledge can immediately and securely reach all of those who must act on it.”
NWWARN was jointly developed by the Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER)
and the FBI, in partnership with the
DHS, to help protect citizens and critical infrastructure across the
northwestern United States and western Canada.
