Despite proven research studies and security expert testimonies, computer control networks for electric power, water, oil and gas, and other critical infrastructures remain vulnerable to cyber attack. Security weaknesses in our Industrial Control Systems (ICS) allow malicious intruders such as hostile governments, terrorist organizations, and disgruntled employees to wreak havoc on our critical infrastructure.
This panel session of experts will discuss malicious attacks on our Industrial Control Systems, the urgency of fixing the security flaws in our DCS, SCADA and PLC technology, and what the U.S. government and private industries are doing to assess the vulnerabilities and reduce security risk within the U.S. process controls industry.
